Charles Lucas

Biography

Charles Lucas was a young man whose life was lived during the early years of American expansion into the frontier territories. Though his time was brief, he was part of the generation that built the foundations of the new nation.

Lucas's memory is preserved at Calvary Cemetery, where he rests among the pioneers and builders of early St. Louis and the surrounding region.
