Princess Kazu was a member of the imperial family whose poetic talents brought grace and refinement to the cultural life of her era. Her compositions reflected the classical traditions of Japanese poetry while expressing the sensibilities of her time.

Princess Kazu lived a brief but meaningful life, passing away in 1877 at the age of thirty-one. She was interred at Zōjō-ji Temple, where her memory is honored as a reminder of her contributions to Japanese literary and cultural heritage.
