Christina ten Broeck

Biography

Christina ten Broeck lived a full life spanning the eighteenth century in Albany, New York. Born in 1718, she witnessed the transformation of her community from colonial settlement to established city during a period of significant growth and change.

Her life reflected the experiences of women in the Hudson Valley during this formative era. Christina ten Broeck passed away in 1801 at an advanced age, leaving behind a legacy rooted in the Albany community where she spent her life. She was laid to rest in Albany Rural Cemetery.
