Daniel Tyler

Biography

Daniel Tyler (1799–1882) served his country as a military officer and engineer, helping to guide young soldiers and laying the groundwork for the networks that connected communities across the region.

He remained a mentor to others in his later years, and the quiet stones of Hillside Cemetery now mark the resting place of a man committed to progress and duty.
