Darius D. Hare

Darius D. Hare, born in 1843 and passing in 1897, was a consistent presence in the Oak Hill community through the latter half of the nineteenth century. The particulars of his profession remain unrecorded, yet he is recalled for a steady kindness toward his neighbors.

His memory lives on through those who appreciated his calming influence, resting now at Oak Hill Cemetery.
