Biography

Eberhard Anheuser (1805–1880) was a German-American businessman and entrepreneur who founded Eberhard Anheuser and Company, a brewing enterprise that became the foundation of the Anheuser-Busch brewery empire. His business acumen and vision for quality beer production helped establish St. Louis as a major brewing center in America.

Through his marriage and business partnership with his son-in-law Adolphus Busch, Anheuser's company evolved into one of the largest and most successful breweries in the United States. His legacy extends beyond business to his significant contributions to St. Louis's economic development and German-American community.
