Biography

Edward Hunter's decades of service through times of war and peace reflected a deep loyalty to the ideals that shaped the United States in the late nineteenth century. He answered the call to defend the Union and stayed in uniform even as the nation moved into new challenges in the West and overseas, offering wise judgment and a readiness to shoulder responsibility.
