Biography
Emanuel Löwy was born in 1852 and lived through one of the most transformative periods in Central European Jewish history. He witnessed the modernization of Jewish life and the emergence of new cultural and political movements within the community.
Löwy passed away in 1936 at an advanced age and was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Brno. His long life spanned nearly a century of change within Moravian Jewry.
