Biography
Eugène Delamain, born in 1874, devoted himself to painting landscapes and scenes infused with subtle light, letting rural and urban corners testify to the quiet persistence of French life even as the world around him changed.
A soldier as well, he now lies at La Targette French National Cemetery, where his artistic sensitivity is honored beside the men he served with.
