Biography
Jacques de Choudens was a French writer whose literary contributions enriched French cultural life during the Belle Époque and early twentieth century. Born in 1887, he pursued his craft during a period of remarkable artistic and intellectual flourishing in France.
De Choudens' literary career was curtailed by the outbreak of the First World War. He died in 1915, having answered his nation's call to arms. He was buried at La Targette French National Cemetery, where his memory endures among the many writers and intellectuals who fell during the conflict.
