Biography

Eva Wilder Brodhead was born in 1870 and became a luminous voice whose novels and short stories reflected both the grandeur and the quiet intimacies of American life in the late nineteenth century, drawing readers into worlds shaped by keen observation and elegant prose.

Her work inspired fellow writers and encouraged thoughtful conversation in literary circles, and though her life was brief, passing in 1915, her gentle spirit endures among those who visit her place of rest at Fairmount Cemetery.
