Biography
Frances Gratz Etting was a member of the prominent Gratz family, one of the most distinguished Jewish families in early American history. She lived during a formative period for Jewish communities in the United States.
Frances was laid to rest at Mikveh Israel Cemetery in Philadelphia, one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in America and the burial ground of many significant figures in Jewish-American history.
