Biography

Rebecca Machado Phillips was a woman of the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries who lived during a transformative period in American history. She was part of the established Jewish community in Philadelphia.

Phillips was interred at Mikveh Israel Cemetery, a historic burial ground that served as the final resting place for many members of the American Jewish community.
