Frank E. Beatty

Biography

Frank E. Beatty (1853–1926) devoted his life to the United States Navy, rising through the ranks during a period of global change and the advent of steel ships.

He advocated for professional training and shipboard excellence, earning the respect of sailors and contemporaries before his retirement to Arlington.
