Františka Johanna von Thun und Hohenstein was a member of the distinguished Thun und Hohenstein family, one of the prominent noble families of Central Europe. She lived during a transformative period of the 19th century.

She was laid to rest in the Funeral Chapel of the Elevation of the Holy Rood in Šťáhlavy, a sacred space befitting her noble status. Her life and memory remain connected to the religious and cultural heritage of her family's lands.
