Garretson Hageman

Biography

Garretson Hageman was born in 1846 and came of age during a time of rapid change, yet he kept to the principles of steady work and dependable service that sustained his neighborhood.

Those who knew him recall his quiet good humor and generous counsel, supporting family and local efforts, and he now rests peacefully at Elm Ridge Cemetery after a life of earnest devotion that ended in 1915.
