Biography

Peter Pumyea was born in 1739 and lived during the transformative era of American independence and the early republic. He witnessed the Revolutionary War and the establishment of the nation's foundational institutions.

Pumyea died in 1802 at the age of sixty-three and was interred at Elm Ridge Cemetery. His life spanned a crucial period in American history, and his final resting place reflects his connection to the broader community.
