Biography
Harold “Deacon” Duvall devoted decades to building college football programs rooted in discipline, integrity, and care for student-athletes. As the head coach at Marshall University, he guided young men with steady leadership and a commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Even after his coaching tenure, Coach Duvall remained a mentor and an inspiration, remembered fondly by generations of players whose lives were shaped by his steady hand and kind presence, resting now at Woodlawn Cemetery.
