Biography
Henk Raak was born in 1920 and grew into a steadfast member of the Dutch resistance during the dark years of the Second World War. He devoted his youthful energy to clandestine efforts that supported fellow citizens and challenged the occupying forces in whatever ways he could.
His courage led him to the ultimate sacrifice in 1944, and he now rests among his compatriots at the Dutch Honorary Cemetery Bloemendaal, remembered for his quiet determination.
