Biography

Henry Hull Carlton (1835–1905) engaged wholeheartedly in the civic life of his region, bringing thoughtful steadiness to every duty he accepted.

His pursuit of the common good and encouragement of younger generations left a quiet but lasting impression, and he now rests at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
