Biography
Henry Ungar (1906–1991) devoted decades to pathology, bringing meticulous observation and care to the study of disease at his laboratory bench and in the classroom. His research and diagnostic skill helped to strengthen clinical practice in Israel during a period of rapid growth for medical science.
He was known for guiding young doctors with patience and respect, nurturing both their technical skills and their sense of professional responsibility, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues and students from his resting place at Har HaMenuchot.
