Biography

Hollow Horn Bear, born in 1850, served as a leader of the Oglala Lakota people, guiding his community through difficult years while advocating for their rights and traditions. His courage and dignity shone both in negotiations with the U.S. government and in his efforts to maintain the cultural heritage of the Lakota people.
