Ichabod Genung

Biography

Ichabod Genung, born in 1766, devoted his life to the ministry, guiding his flock through uncertain times with thoughtful preaching and earnest pastoral care. He labored to keep hope alive in the hearts of those who sought counsel, visiting the sick and encouraging the young to live with integrity.

He died in 1841 and was buried at Hillside Cemetery, where his legacy as a clergyman endures among the congregations he strengthened.
