Biography

Infanta Luisa Teresa of Spain was a member of the Spanish royal family born in 1824. As an infanta, she occupied an important position within the royal household and represented the continuity of the Spanish dynasty during the nineteenth century.

Her life was marked by the privileges and responsibilities of royal birth, and she witnessed Spain's transformation throughout her lifetime. She was interred in the Pantheon of the Infantes at the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, the traditional burial place for members of the Spanish royal family.
