Biography

Ival Goodman delighted baseball fans as a Major League outfielder whose speed, glove work, and timely hitting helped anchor the clubs he served. His years on the field were marked by a consistent effort to lift his teammates and to represent the sport with dignity.

After retirement he remained connected to the community that cheered him on, and he now rests at Oak Hill Cemetery, where his contributions to the game are still fondly remembered.
