Biography
James Albertus Tawney served his country with distinction, representing Minnesota in the United States House of Representatives and earning the respect of colleagues for his thoughtful leadership. As chairman of the House Committee on the Post Office and Post Roads, he guided important legislation while remaining attentive to the needs of ordinary citizens.
