Biography

James Carroll devoted himself to faithful labor in and around the plantings and walls of Old Saint Paul's Cemetery, always mindful of the lives resting beneath the stones.

His memory continues there today, where caretakers honor the enduring care he gave to the grounds and the community they shelter.
