James Monroe Smith

James Monroe Smith devoted himself to the stewardship of the land and to advancing agricultural practices that sustained his neighbors and inspired younger farmers.

He is remembered for his leadership and quiet generosity, resting today at Oconee Hill Cemetery among those he served.
