Jim Pender

Biography

Jim Pender was an Australian rules football player who competed during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He was known for his skill and passion for the sport, contributing to Australian football during a significant period of its growth.

Pender's life was cut short by the First World War, and he is remembered at the Villers–Bretonneux Australian National Memorial in France, standing among the many Australian servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice during the conflict.
