Biography

John Aldred Twining helped expand the Twining family's banking and tea interests, merging financial acumen with a deep sense of civic duty. As a banker he oversaw the growing enterprise with prudence, ensuring that the family business remained a pillar of commerce and respect.

Generous in philanthropy and supportive of educational causes, he carried the family name with quiet distinction and cared deeply for the well-being of associates and employees. He died in 1855 and was laid to rest at Kensal Green Cemetery, leaving a legacy of integrity.
