Biography
John Cherberg (1910–1992) devoted much of his life to public service, most notably as lieutenant governor of Washington, where he worked tirelessly to connect citizens with their government and strengthen civic institutions. He was equally respected for his integrity, humility, and willingness to listen to differing viewpoints.
He rests at Calvary Cemetery, leaving a noble example of leadership rooted in empathy and a deep love for his state.
