John Henry Patterson

Biography

John Henry Patterson, born in 1867, built a career as an industrialist who guided the National Cash Register Company to national prominence through innovations in business machines and a strong emphasis on organization and service. He believed in marrying technological progress with humane labor practices, investing in education and welfare programs for employees to create a more dependable workplace.
