John Russ

Biography

John Russ (1767–1833) was a member of his community during the formative years of the American republic. His life reflected the experiences of those who lived through the Revolutionary era and into the early Federal period.

Russ is remembered through his burial at Old North Cemetery, where he rests among the notable figures of his generation.
