Biography

Johnny Gottselig skated onto the National Hockey League stage as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks, winning two Stanley Cups and leading the team with skillful play and quiet leadership. After hanging up his skates he stayed with the organization as a coach and executive, shaping the next generation of players.

His career earned him admiration from teammates and fans alike, and he continued to bridge the worlds of sport and community through appearances and mentorship, with his legacy preserved at Calvary Cemetery where he lies in rest.
