Jonathan Child

Biography

Jonathan Child was born in 1785 and lived through the early years of the American republic as a steadfast community member. He was dedicated to his family and neighbors throughout his lifetime until his death in 1860.

His memory is honored at Mount Hope Cemetery, where he rests as a cherished member of the generations that shaped and sustained his community.
