Joseph Lindauer

Biography

Joseph Lindauer (1854–1922) lived most of his life amid the rhythms of New Orleans and its surrounding parishes, keeping close ties to neighbors while meeting the demands of his daily responsibilities with integrity. His perseverance was a quiet guiding light for his family.

He was laid to rest at Metairie Cemetery, leaving behind memories of a generous spirit and a life lived with earnest purpose.
