Biography

Julian Scott combined artistic talent with patriotic service, capturing the human side of war in his sketches while also stepping forward as a soldier to share the hardships of the battlefield. His art preserved the valor of ordinary infantrymen and reminded future generations of the cost of conflict.

He remained devoted to the arts and to the veteran community after the war, teaching and exhibiting his work as a testament to resilience and hope.
