Biography
Karim Hakimov (1892–1938) was a Soviet diplomat and political figure who served in various capacities within the Soviet government during the early decades of the USSR. He represented Soviet interests in international affairs during a formative period of Soviet foreign policy.
Hakimov became a victim of Stalin's Great Purge, executed at the Kommunarka shooting ground in 1938. His death reflected the widespread persecution of Old Bolsheviks and government officials during this period of political terror.
