Biography

Keōpūolani, high chiefess of Hawaiʻi, was revered for her noble bloodlines and for embracing Christianity alongside Kamehameha, ensuring that the royal line kept a spirit of grace and faith.

She carefully nurtured her children and the kingdom’s futures before passing in 1823, and her memory rests reverently at Mokuʻula as a mother of kings.
