Mary L. Gardiner

Biography

Mary L. Gardiner (1791–1860) was a pillar of strength for her family, guiding them through the early decades of the republic with steadfast grace in the region around Oakland Cemetery.

Her dedication to home and hearth and her gentle encouragement of others have kept her memory dear to relatives and friends who visit Oakland Cemetery today.
