Biography
Michael Collins piloted the Apollo 11 command module, ensuring the safe return of his crewmates while orbiting the Moon during humanity’s first lunar landing. His steady presence in orbit allowed Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to make history, and he brought Abundance of technical skill and calm resolve to one of the most critical missions of the Space Age.
Beyond that mission, he served with distinction in the Air Force and later contributed to space policy and public education, inspiring generations to look beyond Earth.
