Peter Vivian Daniel

Biography

Peter Vivian Daniel (1784-1860) studied the law with fervent attention and went on to serve as a judge, bringing a thoughtful temper to the deliberations before him. He approached each case with a dedication to fairness, mindful of the weighty responsibilities resting on the bench.

His steady hand and love of jurisprudence left an impression on the Commonwealth, and Hollywood Cemetery now shelters his remains as testament to a life guided by principle.
