Biography
Prince Adolphus, Duke of Cambridge, was a senior member of the British royal family and a distinguished military officer who lived from 1774 to 1850. As the seventh son of King George III, he held considerable rank and influence within the royal household and served with distinction in military campaigns throughout his career.
Prince Adolphus died in 1850 and was accorded the honor of burial in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, one of the most prestigious burial sites in the kingdom, reserved for members of the royal family and those of the highest standing.
