Ray Palmer

Biography

Ray Palmer (1808-1887) ministered with compassion and penned hymns that have comforted generations, most notably the beloved "My Faith Looks Up to Thee," and he brought a thoughtful, poetic voice to the worship of many congregations.

Throughout his life he championed a faith that welcomed seekers and encouraged the faithful to rise above despair, leaving a legacy of music and ministry honored at Albany Rural Cemetery.
