Robert F. R. Lewis

Biography

Robert F. R. Lewis dedicated his life to service at sea, answering the call of the U.S. Navy with steady leadership from 1826 until his passing in 1881.

He lies now at the United States Naval Academy Cemetery, a fitting place for one whose duty and honor were always directed toward the safety of others.
