Biography

Robert Halperin combined business acumen with Olympic-level sailing to inspire his community and peers alike. After earning distinction on the water he helped build businesses that created jobs and supported civic institutions.

He remained committed to mentoring young sailors and entrepreneurs, and the people who knew him remember both his competitive drive and his generosity, now honored at Arlington National Cemetery.
