Ruby Bradley (1907–2002) devoted her life to military nursing, tending to soldiers in the Philippines before the fall of Bataan, enduring imprisonment, and returning home with her compassion for patients undiminished.
In the decades that followed she served as a leader and advocate for Army nurses and veterans, ensuring the sacrifices she witnessed were remembered and honored; her legacy now rests in Arlington National Cemetery.
