Samuel A. Talcott

Biography

Samuel A. Talcott (1789–1836) lived during a period of significant growth and change in American society. His life, though relatively brief, reflected the experiences of those who came of age during the early Federal period and witnessed the nation's development.

Talcott's memory is preserved at Old North Cemetery, where he rests among the historical figures of his generation.
