Samuel Parkman

Biography

Samuel Parkman (1751–1824) was a respected member of Boston's colonial and early American society. He lived through a transformative period in American history, witnessing the Revolution and the establishment of the new nation.

Parkman's life spanned from the mid-eighteenth century through the early decades of the nineteenth century, a time of significant change in New England. He was interred at King's Chapel Burying Ground, one of Boston's most historic cemeteries, reflecting his standing in the community.
