Biography

Vincent R. Impellitteri, born in 1900, served as Mayor of New York City and brought a measured, fiscally responsible approach to leadership during his time in office. Known for his integrity, he navigated the challenges of urban governance with a focus on accountability and the everyday concerns of city residents.

After leaving the mayor's office he remained engaged in civic life, always grateful for the opportunity to serve, and he is remembered with respect at Mount Saint Peter Cemetery.
